NAIROBI, Kenya — Content creator Andrew Kibe has claimed that the controversy surrounding his recent appearance on Dr Ofweneke’s Lessons at 30 podcast was intentional, saying he deliberately sought to provoke as many people as possible during the interview.

Kibe’s remarks come days after the episode was removed from online platforms following widespread criticism over comments he made about rapper Stevo Simple Boy, with many viewers accusing him of bullying and body-shaming the musician.

The interview generated significant backlash across social media, prompting Dr Ofweneke to publicly apologise and later meet Stevo Simple Boy in person.

In a post shared on X on June 27, Kibe suggested that the reaction to the interview was part of the outcome he had anticipated.

The incident triggered extensive debate online, with many users calling for accountability and greater responsibility from public figures and content creators.

Episode permanently removed

Dr Ofweneke has since confirmed that the controversial episode has been permanently removed from circulation.

He has also pledged to support Stevo Simple Boy going forward and indicated that he intends to host the rapper on a future episode, giving him an opportunity to share his own story directly with audiences.
