KAMPALA, Uganda — Police in Old Kampala are investigating a murder incident in which a 34-year-old boda boda rider was allegedly killed following a violent altercation reportedly linked to football rivalry in Bakuli, Kampala Central Division.

The deceased, identified as Denis, a resident of Bakuli, was allegedly involved in a confrontation with a suspect known only as Musiramu, who is said to be a supporter of Manchester United, while the victim was reportedly an Arsenal fan.

According to preliminary police findings, the incident occurred on May 24, 2026 at around 6:30 p.m., when a disagreement between the two men escalated into a physical fight.
