COLORADO, UNITED STATES — U.S. authorities reported on Sunday the arrest of over 100 undocumented migrants during a raid on a nightclub in Colorado, marking the latest in a series of detentions under President Donald Trump’s intensified immigration enforcement efforts.

Attorney General Pam Bondi stated on X that the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) “apprehended over 100 illegal aliens at an underground night club frequented by Tda and MS-13 terrorists.”

President Trump has previously designated South American gangs Tren de Aragua and MS-13 as terrorist organizations. His administration has also deployed troops to the Mexican border and advocated for widespread expulsions of undocumented migrants as part of a stringent approach to immigration.

This policy has led to clashes with federal judges, human rights organizations, and Democrats, who argue that constitutional rights have been disregarded in the expedited deportation of migrants, sometimes without due process.

Video footage shared on X by the DEA depicted armed officers forcibly entering a building by breaking a window and instructing individuals inside to raise their hands as they exited onto what appeared to be a strip mall parking area.

The DEA confirmed that “more than 100 illegal aliens” were taken into custody at the “underground nightclub” located in Colorado Springs. The agency also posted on X that “Drugs and weapons have also been seized.”

DEA Special Agent Jonathan Pullen informed local television stations that the raid also uncovered the presence of several U.S. military personnel at the club, “either as patrons or working as armed security.”

President Trump lauded the operation on his Truth Social platform on Sunday, stating it targeted “some of the worst people illegally in our Country — Drug Dealers, Murderers, and other Violent Criminals, of all shapes and sizes.”

He criticized judges who have issued rulings blocking migrant deportations, asserting that such actions would transform the United States into a “Crime ridden MESS.”

Last week, rights groups reported that authorities had deported three American children, including one with a rare form of cancer, alongside their undocumented immigrant mothers.

One prominent deportation case involved Maryland resident Kilmar Abrego Garcia, who was sent back to El Salvador despite possessing protected legal status.

The Trump administration acknowledged that Abrego Garcia’s deportation was due to an “administrative error,” and the Supreme Court mandated that the government facilitate his return to the United States.

However, President Trump has since reiterated his stance, insisting that Abrego Garcia is, in fact, a gang member.
