KAMPALA, UGANDA — A storm of speculation has erupted around Goodlyfe’s Weasel Manizo (Douglas Mayanja) after a leaked audio clip captured him in a state of emotional distress, begging to return to Uganda.

The singer, who traveled to the U.S. alongside his brother Jose Chameleone in December for medical reasons, is heard frantically exclaiming, “I want to go home! I miss my wife and children. They might even snatch my woman!” This outburst has sent shockwaves through social media, leaving fans and followers puzzled.

Sources indicate Weasel’s plea stems from a reported falling out with businesswoman Juliet Zawedde, who had been accommodating him and Chameleone during their stay. The alleged rift began when Weasel hosted an unplanned gathering at Zawedde’s residence, inviting friends without her prior knowledge. This act reportedly ignited a heated dispute, leaving Weasel feeling unwelcome.

In the wake of the confrontation, he allegedly demanded an immediate return to Uganda, expressing a desperate desire to be reunited with his wife and children.

The leaked audio has quickly spread online, eliciting a wide range of reactions.

While some express genuine concern for Weasel’s emotional state, others view the incident as yet another dramatic chapter in the singer’s often-turbulent life.
