KAMPALA, Uganda — The Uganda Police Force (UPF) has officially dismissed circulating social media rumors claiming the clandestine arrest of popular musician Patrick Mulwana, known professionally as Alien Skin.
While fans of the Fangone Forest Entertainment head have flooded platforms for the past three days demanding answers about his unexplained absence, the authorities have clarified that the controversial artist is not in their custody.
Deputy Police Spokesperson SP Patrick Onyango refuted the claims during a radio interview, insisting that the singer had not been detained. However, the police official confirmed that the artist is actively being sought in connection with outstanding allegations.

SP Onyango explicitly addressed both the rumors and the artist’s fugitive status, stating:
“Alien Skin is not under arrest and not in the hands of the police. I request that if anyone knows where he is, they kindly reach out to us in private. We are actively searching for him to arrest him. We need him to answer the allegations. We request the public to give us the information.”
This public statement unequivocally denies that the police have been holding the musician incommunicado, but simultaneously confirms that Alien Skin is a wanted individual and that the Uganda Police Force is appealing to the public for assistance in locating him.
The exact circumstances surrounding Alien Skin’s sudden disappearance remain unclear, fueling public speculation across various social media platforms.
