KAMPALA, Uganda — President Yoweri Museveni has held a high-level meeting with Patrick Mulwana, the prominent leader of Fangone Forest Entertainment popularly known as Alien Skin.

The dialogue, which took place in early January 2026, focused on the intersection of youth culture, wealth creation, and the constructive integration of influential artists into national development programs.

The meeting was attended by Hellen Seku, the Commissioner for Patriotism (also known in creative circles as “Mama Fangon”).

During the engagement, President Museveni highlighted the significant social capital held by figures in the creative industry, urging Alien Skin to use his platform to foster peace and discipline among his urban following.

The President argued that the foundation of Uganda’s current stability and expanding economic landscape offers a unique opportunity for the youth to transition from mere survival to sustainable wealth.

He advised the musician to guide his supporters toward active participation in organized government structures designed for economic transformation.

In a specific move to promote long-term financial security, President Museveni encouraged Alien Skin to venture into commercial agriculture. He identified coffee production as a premier enterprise due to its robust potential in both domestic and international markets.

The President specifically advised the artist to acquire land for large-scale coffee farming, framing it as a reliable source of employment and generational wealth.

He emphasized that modern farming, combined with value addition and access to export channels, remains a cornerstone of the Ugandan economy that the youth must embrace.

The engagement comes as the government intensifies its outreach to attract young people into wealth-creation initiatives such as the Parish Development Model (PDM), Emyooga, and various commercial agriculture schemes.

Observers view the meeting as a strategic effort to bridge the gap between “street” culture and official government policy.

By engaging with Alien Skin, who commands a massive following among the urban youth, the President expressed optimism that creative leaders can act as catalysts for social stability and economic productivity.
