BRUSSELS, BELGIUM — A 31-year-old Belgian woman known as Toxii has captured widespread attention following a series of extensive body modifications, making her the first known woman to undergo complete surgical removal of her nose.

This procedure marks the latest step in a profound physical transformation that has rendered her nearly unrecognizable from her appearance just four years ago.

Previously presenting an image often associated with social media influencers—characterized by blonde hair, conventional makeup, and tanned skin—Toxii now embodies a dramatically different aesthetic.

Her current appearance includes sclera tattoos resulting in black eyes, extensive facial tattoos, ridged skin textures achieved through procedures like scarification, a surgically split tongue dyed black, pointed teeth implants, and implanted horns on her forehead.

Waist-length black dreadlocks replace her former blonde hair. The most striking change, however, is the surgical absence of her nose.

Explaining her motivations, Toxii embraces a unique perspective on appearance. “I like to be imperfect. Imperfections make you unique,” says Toxii, the world’s first woman to undergo a full nose removal.

In a recent interview, she elaborated on the physical demands of her journey, confirming that the nose removal surgery was significantly more painful than procedures like her horn implants, requiring approximately eight weeks for healing.

Her modification journey is extensive, reportedly encompassing genital alterations, breast implants, scarification, tongue splitting, and subdermal implants creating ridges on her neck. Toxii has indicated that these procedures were carefully documented, with some necessitating formal approval from both medical doctors and psychiatrists.

While acknowledging the intense physical discomfort involved, Toxii emphasizes the positive emotional impact of her transformation. “I feel more like myself now than I ever did before,” she stated, expressing a newfound sense of peace and authenticity.

Predictably, her radical choices have generated significant and polarized reactions on social media platforms. Comments range from expressions of shock and dismay, often referencing her previous appearance, to messages of support and fascination.

Despite facing criticism, Toxii remains resolute in her decisions. She reportedly keeps preserved body parts that were surgically removed, including her nose, viewing them as mementos of her personal evolution.

Toxii affirms that her journey of modification is not yet complete. While her choices challenge conventional norms and are not universally understood, her story prompts discussion on the nature of identity, self-expression, and the evolving landscape of body modification.

As one online commentator observed, her path pushes boundaries in defining personal identity.
