NAIROBI, Kenya — The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has announced a subsidized price for the Harambee Stars replica jerseys in anticipation of the African Nations Championship (CHAN), which is set to kick off this weekend across Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.
FKF President Hussein Mohammed revealed on Thursday that the jerseys, which have been in high demand, will now retail at Ksh 1,500, a reduction from the previous price of Ksh 2,500. This special offer is valid until August 7.
“I am happy to announce that following requests from Kenyans, we will subsidize the costs of Harambee Stars replica kits from the previous price of Ksh 2,500. This offer is available for a limited period, up to the 7th of August,” Mohammed stated.
He also encouraged fans to purchase the jerseys while stocks last, noting they are available both online via the East West Fashions website and in-store at Sonalux House along Moi Avenue in Nairobi.
Mohammed also used the opportunity to rally Kenyans to create a positive atmosphere at Kasarani Stadium for Harambee Stars’ opening match against DR Congo on Sunday at 3 PM.

“We call on all Kenyans who have already purchased tickets and come and fill Kasarani to the rafters,” he urged.
He also extended his appeal to those who might not be able to attend, stating, “If you have not yet bought the tickets, you can watch the game at home and support our national team.”
Mohammed encouraged football fans to support not only the national team’s games but also to attend other Group A matches being played in the country.
“We are Pan Africanists and so we encourage you to not only watch Kenya’s games but all the other matches,” he concluded.
