KAMPALA, Uganda — The President of the National Unity Platform (NUP), Robert Kyagulanyi (Bobi Wine), has publicly extended his condolences following the death of former Kenyan Prime Minister and veteran opposition leader, Raila Odinga.

In a heartfelt message shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Kyagulanyi hailed Mr. Odinga as an exceptional leader. He described the late politician as: “Deepest condolences to the great people of Kenya and all pro-democracy forces around the world.”

Kyagulanyi further characterized Odinga as a great statesman and an African giant who stood tall for freedom, liberty, and dignity. He specifically recognized Odinga’s relentless work in advancing humanity despite the significant challenges he faced throughout his career.
