NAIROBI, Kenya — The Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs has condemned the bombing of a building in Qatar by the State of Israel.

In a statement on Thursday, the Ministry asserted that the Tuesday bombing constituted a “clear breach of the sovereignty and territorial integrity, posing a serious threat to regional and international peace and security.”

The Ministry urged all parties to exercise restraint and prioritize dialogue while committing to peaceful coexistence.

The airstrike, which took place in the Qatari capital of Doha on Tuesday, was an attempt by Israel to kill the political leaders of Hamas.

The bombing represents an escalation of military action and has been described by the U.S. as a unilateral attack that does not advance American and Israeli interests.

The attack occurred shortly after Hamas claimed responsibility for a Monday shooting that killed six people at a bus stop on the outskirts of Jerusalem.

According to Israeli ambassador to the United States Yechiel, Israel aims to succeed next time after failing to kill Hamas leaders in the airstrike.

In a speech at the U.S. Capitol complex on Wednesday, Yechiel stated: “We have put terrorists on notice, wherever they may be …. we’re going to pursue them, and we’re going to destroy those who will destroy us.”
