NAIROBI, Kenya — Prominent Kenyan lawyer and long-time aide to former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, Silas Jakakimba, alongside his wife Florence Adhiambo, has publicly announced their separation in a joint statement released on Thursday, July 17, 2025.

The couple, who had been married for three years, characterized their decision as a difficult one, arrived at after careful consideration and extensive reflection.
