KAMPALA, Uganda — Ugandan recording artist Sheebah Karungi, known professionally as Sheebah and by her birth name Samali Karungi, has signaled her intention to stage a concert following her return to the country from Canada.

After a successful concert in October 2024, Sheebah embarked on a musical break in Canada. During this period, the artist, who refers to herself as the “Karma Queen,” welcomed the arrival of her newborn son, Amil.

Last Saturday marked the end of Sheebah’s hiatus as she quietly returned to Uganda via Entebbe International Airport.
