    Health ministry investigates mysterious disease in Kisii villages

    Health ministry investigates mysterious disease in Kisii villages
    The Principal Secretary for Public Health and Professional Standards, Mary Muthoni.

    KISII, KENYA — A specialized team from the Ministry of Health has been dispatched to Kisii County to investigate an outbreak of a mysterious disease.

    Principal Secretary Mary Muthoni confirmed that the disease has impacted more than 200 residents across three villages in the South Mugirango region.

    Speaking from Mwea, Kirinyaga, she stated that the ministry’s specialists will collaborate with local health officials to analyze collected samples and identify the nature of the ailment.
