Three injured as Kakise Transporters bus crashes into clinic in Mbale City
Authorities investigate the site of the Kakise Transporters bus crash that left several people hospitalized in Mbale.

MBALE, Uganda — Three people sustained injuries after a commercial bus belonging to Kakise Transporters lost control and rammed into a private health facility on Saturday afternoon in Mbale City.

The incident occurred near the General Clinic along Republic Street. Preliminary reports indicate the bus, which was traveling from Kampala to Mbale, veered off the road and collided with the clinic building.

Emergency services quickly responded, transporting the injured individuals to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the accident, focusing on possible mechanical failure or driver error.

The scene of the accident near General Clinic in Mbale, where three people were injured after a bus lost control.
