JOHANNESBURG, South Africa — Ugandan socialite and prominent businesswoman Zari Hassan recently survived a road accident in Johannesburg, South Africa. Although her luxury Range Rover sustained significant front-end damage, widely known as ‘The Boss Lady,’ she confirmed that she escaped the collision safely.

The crash occurred on a busy route within the Sandton area of Johannesburg, with initial reports suggesting the incident happened during late morning traffic.

Following the collision, Zari quickly took to social media to reassure her concerned followers, sharing images of the aftermath which clearly showed the crumpled front of the expensive SUV.

“Honestly, I’m just grateful to be alive right now. It was terrifying. Thank you to everyone for checking on me,” she posted.

She confirmed that she was shaken by the traumatic experience but avoided serious injury, crediting the vehicle’s safety features with preventing a far worse outcome.

Photographs shared online illustrated the severity of the impact, with the Range Rover’s bonnet twisted, the front bumper smashed, and the headlights completely destroyed. While the exact repair cost remains pending confirmation by an assessor, initial estimates suggest the bill will be substantial.

Local police and emergency services attended the scene. Zari confirmed that an official report has been filed, and investigations into the precise cause of the crash are now underway. She did not specify whether she was alone in the vehicle or if another driver was involved in the incident.

Despite the shocking setback, Zari demonstrated her characteristic resilience. Just hours after the incident, she was back to attending to her business commitments, a move that embodied her ‘Boss Lady’ title.

She posted an update on her recovery, adding an inspirational message: “A setback is just a setup for a comeback. We move.”

Fans, followers, and celebrity peers have since flooded her social media with messages of relief and support.
