NAIROBI, Kenya — Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has drawn significant public attention after issuing a heartfelt and passionate appeal for support to the family of the late influencer Albert Ojwang.

In a statement that has rapidly gained widespread traction online, Sonko remarked: “Huyu Mzee, babake the late Albert Ojwang, ako na heshima sana. Hebu munitumie namba yake ama nileteeni yeye kwa office, ama mama Albert ama the widow.”

Albert Ojwang, whose untimely death has resonated deeply with many across the nation, will be remembered for his notable contributions to both his community and the social media landscape.
