NAIROBI, Kenya — President William Ruto on Sunday conducted an inspection of the Uhuru Sports Complex in Embakasi West, highlighting ongoing infrastructure development in the region.

The newly inspected sports arena is equipped with a modern football pitch and a dedicated basketball court.

It also features a versatile convertible court designed to accommodate various sports, including netball, volleyball, and handball.

Complementing these outdoor facilities is a multipurpose hall, suitable for hosting indoor games such as chess and table tennis, among other recreational activities.

This extensive development is set to deliver 2,760 housing units, aiming to provide residents with “decent and dignified shelter,” according to President Ruto.
