NAIROBI, KENYA — Kenyan rapper and songwriter Nyamari Ongegu, popularly known as Nyashinski, has debuted a fresh appearance after cutting off his iconic dreadlocks.
On Friday, February 14, 2025, the Perfect Design hitmaker shared a photo on his official Instagram page, revealing his new afro hairstyle. This marks a significant change for the artist, who has been known for his signature dreadlocks throughout his career.
Alongside the photo, Nyashinski acknowledged that change is inevitable. However, he has yet to disclose the reason behind his dramatic transformation.
“And to imagine that at some point, even this version of you will be the old you. God willing,” the rapper posted.
